Helia:
The title character has a history fraught with meteors and meteor-related events, dating back even before she was born. One of these actually cost her her arms, and at the story's beginning she is on a quest of sorts to obtain a pair of replacements. |

Whitney:
Helia's best friend, an apotemnophiliac who provides special help in her quest for arms. |

A mysterious and somewhat clumsy character who interrupts the main characters' lunch by crashing a small airplane through the restaurant window. |

Wrath of Mackel:
The cameo appearance of a certain friend of mine who was notoriously unreliable at updating his webcomic. |

The Nurse:
A minor character; the nurse working at Fineburg Medical Center, where Whitney was taken after an accident. |

Dr. Klutz:
A minor character; the chief surgical practitioner at Fineburg Medical Center, who personally attaches Helia's arms. |
